About

Finding inspiration in every turn

My husband and I,  are looking forward to offering our services in 2025. Jeremy who has battled young onset Parkinson's for many years, officially diagnosed in 2013.  Through Jeremy's intense struggles with a wide range of Parkinsons symptoms, and me becoming his wife and care support in 2017. Along with the battles we see others facing.  We feel as though there is a need for services that aren't currently being offered as well as services that aren't offered enough.

We started a new business to meet these needs. We will hire people who bring with them a wide range of qualifications, training and skills.

We are dedicated to supporting you, your families and loved ones. Our services and supports are individualized to fit your needs. Open to all ages and walks of life.

Terrylynn's History:

I was trained as a personal support worker back in 2003, and have several years experience in this field as well as being my husbands care support for the past 9 years. I have a wide range of skills and experience, from working in the trucking industry to running cleaning businesses. I also have extensive experience working with dogs,  and some experience with horses. I ran a dog walking/ boarding business. Took courses in "Therapy and Service dog training" and ran a dog training business. I love to hike and explore the outdoors, I believe spending time outside in nature to be very healthy and emotionally healing. Where there is more peace and quiet away from noise and distractions. I will be incorporating animal day events as well as hiking/ walking groups as an addition to our business services.

Jeremy's History:

Jeremy is a former Lieutenant Firefighter and Medic this is where his passions lie. He would have gone through the paramedic program as well if he hadn't been diagnosed with Parkinsons. In addition he has experience working as a care aid with people with various disabilities. Jeremy has seen things from many sides and perspectives.  He loves to draw and paint and this has helped to keep his spirits up and nurture his well being, during the harder times.

Post diagnosis, he took training to be a personal trainer and PWR moves instructor. Jeremy has run 4 half marathons, a couple 16 km and some 10km runs post diagnosis and is passionate about maintaining as much activity and movement as possible.

He is currently "Lead Facilitator" for the Parkinsons Support group in Vernon, BC. He continues to motivate and inspire and strive towards keeping a positive attitude as much as possible on the good and not so good days. He is always working towards improving and bettering himself. Life doesn't end with Parkinsons, one foot in front of the other, some days that's easier said then done!
